Job Description
The primary objective of the expo/food runner is to be the liaison between the FOH staff and kitchen, and to ensure that food is made correctly and carried out to the Guests promptly.
Essential Functions

Maintains friendly, courteous temperament and a neat, clean professional image.

Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees and purveyors to establish a cooperative environment.

Has complete menu knowledge. Know and consistently perform all procedures for food plating and delivery.

Keeps all working areas clean and organized.

Restocks necessary supplies and brings all areas up to standard.

Ensures all orders are correct.

Garnishes food.
-
Loads trays.
-
Prebusses when delivering food and beverages.
-
Discusses problem areas with manager.
-
Performs open, shift change and/or closing duties.
-
Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems.
Requirements
Servers are required to take care of guests are taken care of with 100% compliance to state and federal law as well as company standards.
Qualification Standards

High School graduate or equivalent preferred

Must be 18 years of age or older

Valid Food Handler certificate required

Ability to work flexible shifts including, nights, weekends, and holidays

Ability to work in a fast pace environment

Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor

Must be able to pass all quizzes, tests and complete all workbook assignments.

Must be neatly dressed and well groomed in clean, company approved attire.

Must be able to read menus.

Stands and walks during 6-8 hour shift; Reaches, bends, stoops and wipes.

May be required to carry trays or supplies (10-30 lbs.)
